Warranty Policy

🛡️ Every product sold on insoltech.com is covered by a 24-month legal warranty on manufacturing defects, in full compliance with EU Directive 2019/771 on the sale of goods.

1. Legal basis

For consumers resident in the European Union, the warranty is governed by Directive (EU) 2019/771 on contracts for the sale of goods, as implemented in the consumer's country of habitual residence. This guarantee is mandatory and cannot be waived or reduced by contract.

2. Duration

The warranty covers defects that exist at the time of delivery and become apparent within 24 months from the date of delivery. For the first 12 months, any lack of conformity is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery (reversed burden of proof in favour of the consumer).

3. What is covered

The warranty covers any lack of conformity, meaning the product:

  • does not match the description, type, quantity or quality stated at the time of sale
  • is not fit for the purpose for which goods of that type are normally used
  • does not possess the qualities and performance normal for goods of that type
  • was not delivered with accessories and instructions as required by the contract
  • shows manufacturing defects or material faults not visible at the time of purchase

4. What is NOT covered

The warranty does not apply to defects caused by:

  • improper use or misuse of the product
  • failure to follow the instructions for use
  • modifications or repairs carried out by the customer or unauthorised third parties
  • normal wear and tear from regular use
  • accidental damage (drops, liquid ingress, etc.) not attributable to a manufacturing defect
  • defects the customer was aware of at the time of purchase

5. Your remedies (in order of priority)

If a covered defect is confirmed, you are entitled — at your choice — to:

  • Free repair of the defective product
  • Free replacement with an identical or equivalent working product
  • Price reduction proportional to the defect, if repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionately costly
  • Full refund (contract termination) if the defect is substantial and repair/replacement is not possible within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience

6. How to make a warranty claim

Email info@insoltech.com within 24 months of delivery with your order number and a description of the defect.

Attach clear photos or a short video showing the defect.

Our team will review your claim and respond within 48 working hours.

If the claim is approved, we will arrange free collection of the defective product and send a replacement or process a refund within 14 days.

7. Return shipping for warranty claims

All return shipping costs for products covered under warranty are borne by EASY PEASY GROUP LIMITED. We will provide a prepaid return label or arrange courier collection at no cost to you.

8. Warranty and right of withdrawal

The 24-month warranty is separate from and in addition to your 30-day right of withdrawal (right to return). These are two distinct consumer rights: the right of withdrawal allows you to change your mind within 30 days regardless of defects; the warranty covers conformity defects for 24 months regardless of whether you exercised the right of withdrawal.

9. Commercial guarantee (voluntary)

In addition to the mandatory legal warranty, EASY PEASY GROUP LIMITED offers a voluntary commercial guarantee under the same 24-month terms. This guarantee does not limit or replace any mandatory rights granted to consumers by the law of their country of habitual residence.

10. Governing law

The legal warranty rights described in this policy are governed by the mandatory consumer protection rules of the consumer's country of habitual residence within the EU, pursuant to Article 6 of Regulation (EC) 593/2008 ("Rome I"), which take precedence over any other governing law clause.
